Parenting Adolescents Support (PAS) Ministry

A ministry to help empower parents to disciple their teenages through resources and support. PAS Ministry is offering a 6 week guide to discipling your teens
launching March 6, 2010 on Saturday afternoons in select cities. |
| MINISTRY OVERVIEW |
| Mission To teach parents how to build a successful thriving relationship with their teenagers using small educational support group settings that enable parents to explore new skills, new parenting ideals, and better ways of becoming closer to their teens'. |
| Purpose To train parents to become effective in the areas of communication, nurturing relationships with their teens, and developing their teens' leadership skills. |
| Objectives To decrease fighting and arguing within the home, and replace aggressive communication with effective, clear direct interaction. Parents will learn how to de-escalate arguments and mend broken relationships. |
| What's in it for you? |
| You will gain support from others who understand the challenges of parenting. The facilitators are Christian parents who have been trained in group processes. They will encourage and support you in developing the changes you need to help you become a more effective parent. |
