Our Purpose

MISSION:

To identify, equip and empower Adventist leaders of youth to impact their church and community.

VISION:

To identify, develop and partner with at least 80 leaders of youth by 2012 to grow transformational youth ministries that enhance the church’s and community’s spiritual values.
Transformational youth ministries are defined as ministries in which discipleship and deployment of youth for service are taking place with bridges being built to reach and impact youth in the community.

VALUES:

We value:

1.    Following a Biblical approach to youth ministry. 2 Tim 3:15,16
     The scriptures make us wise for salvation, are God-breathed, and equip us for ministry.

2.    Ministering to leaders of youth in a non-judgmental, empathetic, sincere way. 2 Cor 5:16
       View everyone through Heaven’s eyes.

3.    Passionately pursuing all opportunities to achieve our mission. Eph 5:16, Rom 12:11
       Make the most of every opportunity.
       Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

4.    Exploring new, innovative strategies that are relevant and practical. Isaiah 43:19
       God does new things!

5.    Developing leaders of youth who demonstrate integrity. Psalm 15:4
       Be true even when it hurts.

6.    Relentlessly pursuing excellence in all our endeavors. Col 3:23
       Don’t half step – its all for the Lord, not for men.

7.    The growth of our local church youth ministries. Acts 2:42
       God adds characters and numbers.
