Kymone Hinds was born in the most happening place in the world, Brooklyn, New York. His family moved to the island of Trinidad when he was 2 years old. Pastor Hinds lived there until he finished High School. At age 11, he gave his life to the Lord through baptism. Pastor Hinds graduated from St John’s University (Manhattan Campus) with a Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science. After working briefly in that career, the Lord laid His hands on him and directed him to Andrews University Seminary where he obtained a Masters of Divinity degree. In 2000, Pastor Hinds married the love of his life, Kerine, a registered nurse. They are the proud parents of three children – Jaden (6 years old), Janiah (5 years) and Joelle (3 years). Upon graduating from the seminary, the Hinds were assigned to the Grand Avenue SDA Church where they enjoyed a rich and fruitful ministry. In 2005, Pastor Hinds was appointed Conference Youth Director. He likes sports (all except hockey), gospel music, reading and playing board games. Pastor Hinds loves his job because he gets paid to work with the most talented people in the world – Christian young people. |
