"RECIPE FOR AN ETERNAL MARRIAGE"

Is there really a such thing as an eternal marriage?  It is if you have the right recipe!!  This is an event for married and engaged couples to develop and maintain such a marriage.

 Plan to enjoy a day of learning, fellowship and fun; highlighted by an evening of elegance.  Derrick and Sonya McCollum, The Marriage Menders, will guide us in finding that "right recipe".

 Derrick and Sonya McCollum are the founders of The Marriage Menders, LLC & are Licensed Clinical Social Workers specializing in Marriage & Family counseling. They have been practicing together for 25 years and their practice, which is located outside of Atlanta, consists of providing office, telephonic and video conference counseling to families, individuals. married and unmarrried couples throughout the United States & abroad.  The Marriage Menders are most excited about helping marriages understand,  learn and celebrate the plan that God had for us as His children and embracing the necessary changes marriage requires of us, so that we will be fit for the kingdom of Heaven one day!

The retreat is open to both married and pre-marriage couples.  Attire - what you are comfortable wearing to church; evening attire - "elegant"

ITINERARY

9:30 am - "Selecting the Right Ingredients"

                       Sometimes you have the grind the grain - dismissing the role myths of husbands and wives.  Male/Female break-out session

12:00pm -  "Following the Recipe"

                         God's plan for Marriage - Worship Service

 1:00 pm -     Fellowship Luncheon

                          Enjoy a tasty meal and some couple activities with prizes

 2:30 pm -     "It's all in the Mixing"

                          How feelings and needs impact your marriage

7:30 pm -      A Evening of Elegance - Banquet

                          "Baking at the right temperature" 

                          How to make sure your sex life is "baking" in your marriage

                           (formal/semi-formal attire suggested)

10:30 pm -    "Frosting your cake" - Dismissal

Hotel room reservation block are being made for out-of-town attendees -Best Western St. Louis Hotel & Suites Hazelwood are happy to offer your group a rate of $92+tax for rooms with King beds.  All our rooms have free Wi-Fi, microwaves, Refrigerators and Coffee makers.
